I’ve been through it — and I’m still growing through it. As a therapist who also values therapy, I’ve learned that self-care goes far beyond bubble baths and face masks. Sometimes, true self-care means giving yourself permission to talk, feel, and heal in a safe space. I became a caregiver at an early age and later lost my brother to addiction. I often wish he’d had a space where he could share his inner world without judgment. That wish has shaped my passion for creating that kind of space for others to feel valued, seen and heard for who they are beneath the pain. A space where they are empowered to share their own inner voice.
Clients most often seek services with me to address trauma, sexual abuse/assault, intimate partner abuse, human trafficking recovery, substance use, family conflict, parenting, grief, stress, and emotional regulation related to depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I work with individuals, couples, and families.
My understanding of dysfunctional family dynamics and trauma comes not only from personal experience but also from working with individuals and families who are striving to find peace in the midst of chaos. I believe healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and supported — and I’m here to help you take that step.
I have worked in child welfare, residential care, education, and addictions. I have wore the hat of social worker, therapist, supervisor, and served on the Human Trafficking Task Force. I ally with the LGBTQIA+ community, human trafficking survivors, kink, and ethical non-monogamy. Come as you are, acceptance awaits you.
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions.
